I find that the accusations are horrific in nature. The mere fact that you are an anonymous writer should prove your claims are unsubstantiated and absurd. Clearly whomever wrote the compaint is someone who simply couldn't cut it at Silverline Security. It is a shame that instead of owning up with personal accountability you would anonymously post garbage. I'm going to stick with the title of the article states. SCAM!A Silverline salesperson came to my door to inform me that my previous security company Pinnacle has sold my contract to them and that they were going to upgrade my system free of charge and sign an agreement with them and pay the remainder of the Pinnacle contract off. Sounded great because Pinnacle wasn't living up to there contract. I cancelled with Pinnacle and received a final bill and faxed it to Silverline. I get a phone call later that week from Silverline asking me if I kept the old equipment, because they were not going to pay Pinnacle off and I needed to go back with them. What are you serious?They charged me two months of service and Pinnacle wants me to pay them two months of service to get reinstated.

Disgruntled people, often seniors, were pressured to buy the company’s alarm system and then forced to pay much higher costs than they had expected, according to their complaints to police, state investigators, and local reporters. Vivint has never admitted wrongdoing and did not return many calls for comment over two months. It’s obvious that this is a paid commentor, and I’m not surprised that Vivint would attempt to whitewash their horrible reputation in such a manner. They are crooks!I am in Duval County, and I was approached by them the end of last April. Unfortunately, I was scammed. I thought I was getting a dependable, up to date security system, but my whole experience has been a nightmare. I ended up without AC for a week due to shoddy installation, they wanted to blame it on my AC unit, then wanted me to pay them $400 to have an HVAC tech come look at it…I called my own person, and it turns out their installation person neglected to return the electrical breaker to the correct position after he came to reposition the main unit that was hanging at an angle on my wall. Can you believe that?Well, they did pay for the service call, and they should have; however, I’ve had ongoing problems aside from that for the last 4 months – since they put the cheap crap in. The last straw was a malfunctioning timer device installed to one of my lights. As a sat in front of the television late one night, it surged, the light bulb burst, and sparks shot across the room!Had I not been home, the place could’ve caught on fire.
